The two most important teaching of Jesus are the Great Commandment (that we love one another), and the
Great Commission (that we help people become disciples of Jesus Christ). We see from the example of the
early church that the most effective way to obey these two teachings is not in a large worship gathering on a
Sunday morning, but in smaller groups that meets in homes and other more personal settings.

Our Small Groupsare organized on a semester basis, three times a year; in the fall, in the winter/spring, and in
the summer. Each 10 to 12 week semester provides a wide variety of options in terms of subject matter,
meeting time, and location. This allows people to have a break between Small Groups, and to meet different
people by changing groups. It also provides existing leaders the opportunity to take a semester off, while
providing new leaders the opportunity to step into ministry.
